Adidas Evil-eye expedition glasses
Below you can read the transcript of the video recorded by Henk-Jan Geel about the expedition materials.
‘In this video, I want to tell you a bit about the goggles I take with me on arctic expeditions.
This is it, glacier glasses, a pair of sunglasses with very dark lenses, but there are a couple of things that I do want to show you about these sunglasses the sunglasses have a string on the back so that when I put them on that this is just attached here behind my head, should I fall one time or should it be blowing hard then these sunglasses will stay put.
What else do I have in these sunglasses, I normally have and glasses on so I have inset glasses in these sunglasses and what else is important to me is that the sunglasses seal well on all sides that the sun doesn’t shine into your eyes, but also that the reflection of the snow doesn’t go into your eyes via the sun via the snow at the bottom so both here at the top and on the side and here at the bottom these glasses are sealed well.
If I am out and about and I have a hat on I put the sunglasses with the legs on the outside of the hat over my hat.
That way I don’t have cold air flowing between the legs towards my ears, but then it still seals well.
So this about the sunglasses ‘
