Copper Earthman on the Heroes of Telemark Expedition in Norway
In the footsteps of āHeroes of Telemarkā. A week-long ski expedition in a beautiful, mostly white, environment. Distant views for beautiful insights. But above all, taking on the adventure together with the distance and the elements. A good briefing, preparation, materials and guidance were the basis for being able to enjoy the tour. For me, this tastes like more. Certainly covering great distances on skis ā. It is a wonderfully smooth movement. In addition, camping in the cold is a challenge, but also a process of getting used to it. Once I got into my rhythm, I started to embrace it. And yes, when you lie in a made bed again afterwards, you know that your comfort zone has been stretched. I was able to clear my head and learned from the expertise of Henk-Jan, Onno (the guides) and fellow travelers. I was also able to make some great friendships. I went alone and came back together. When I look at the photoā s I feel like I’m back in Norway and I get a smile… and also a feeling of longing.
