After a number of solo trips, I joined the Kungsleden Winter Trail 2024 with Arctic Adventure. No regrets! It was an amazing trip! The teams at Arctic Adventure are small, which means you quickly get to know each other well and really depend on each other in the cold white world, which is dazzlingly beautiful, but where it can occasionally storm quite a bit.

Our guide Henk-Jan Geel is an experienced Polar Guide, from whom I learned an incredible amount in a short time, which now makes me feel confident enough to explore the far North further on my own next year. He also knows how to support everyone in the right way, sometimes by putting an arm around you, sometimes by giving you some space.

The questions he asks also create mutual connection and good group dynamics within the group. It’s a shame I can only give 5 stars…
