The expedition team completes the crossing over Greenland and has arrived at Point 660. Even the last little bit to the end point was again full of challenges. The team started with five members, but arrived with four. The team made a conscious decision not to disclose because earlier. The four look on their achievement with pride.

An unexpected challenge
Greenland Expedition: Day 29 - Just before the finish line, another unexpected challenge awaited the expedition team. Only 9.6 kilometers to go to our final destination, Point 660. Almost done, just a little more to go!

The exciting final days of the Greenland Expedition
The Greenland Expedition is nearing its end. The participants took their final steps on the ice, determined to reach their goal. What do members actually do after a day of walking and the tent is set up?

Food, food and more food
Despite foggy conditions, the expedition team covered 29 kilometers on Saturday, Sept. 16. With 90 kilometers to go, the end is in sight. Food plays a crucial role in this expedition. Not surprisingly, that expedition members actually run a half marathon every day.

The end is in sight
Toward the end. Despite wear and tear and physical discomfort, the expedition team remained determined and headed for the final stretch toward the expedition's end point.

A visit to Dye 2, the abandoned Cold War radar station
The expedition team has completed more than two-thirds of the trek. On Wednesday, Sept. 13, they visited a completely abandoned airstrip and the abandoned Dye 2 radar station. Especially at this radar station, all sorts of things could be seen. Now the team heads northwest for the final leg of the trek.

Furry night in a sleeping bag and other tent rituals
In this blog update, Henk-Jan talks about the tent ritual during the expedition days. Wondering what all he takes with him in his sleeping bag?

The highest point reached and over half
The Greenland Expedition has reached the highest point, moreover, they are also over halfway through the expedition. The next target is the radar station DYE 2. With sleds getting lighter and lighter, it still remains a challenge.

Against the wind
The expedition team had to walk against the wind all day today. So it was quite draining. Despite the storm and cold, the team also peaked on this day.
